Join guest speaker Eleanor Madden, Partner at Lander & Rogers, as she explores common challenges solicitors face in commercial litigation —from managing client expectations to maintaining thorough file records.
Description
Acting in commercial litigation matters presents a range of recurring challenges for solicitors, from managing client expectations to keeping a comprehensive file record.
Join guest speaker Eleanor Madden, Partner, Lander & Rogers, as she addresses many of the common issues that solicitors face when acting in commercial litigation matters. Eleanor will share her insights as she tracks the life of a commercial litigation matter, from taking initial instructions to resolution and recovery of fees.
The webinar will focus on recurring commercial litigation risk issues, such as the "difficult client", management of counsel, meeting deadlines, cost limitations, keeping records, personal costs orders and time pressures.
It will outline practices that help solicitors avoid a problem or claim, use illustrative case studies to highlight how things can and do go wrong, and provide practical tips that practitioners can implement into this type of work.
